With only three weeks till Christmas I am sure there are many projects that are just waiting to be shared after the Holidays. I have several nearing completion that I just can’t wait to post after they are given and received. No sneak peaks here!
But… I can share this finish! It is for my newest Niece, and I don’t think she is reading my blog yet, LOL!
Name: ‘Sugar Pop Zig and Zag’
Made For: My newest niece in Corn-husker territory
Fabric: Prints are from the Sugar Pop collection by Liz Scott from Moda; the HSTs are charms pulled from three charm packs; gray solid is Bella ‘Ash’ {I think}
Batting: a very thin polyester from Joann’s
Size: 45″ wide by 52″ high
Quilting: Some basic line quilt to highlight the zig zag and diamonds quilted into border
Dates: Start: June 2011 ~ Finish: December 2011
Pattern: ‘original’ pattern inspired by the amazing zig zag quilts created using HSTs found across Blogland this year.
