Fresh Flowers Table Runner ~ FINISHED!

I used a self-binding miter corner technique from Eleanor Burns Quilt-In-A-Day show, but can’t find an on-line video for her version.  It worked very well, and I love how the corners look finished.  Not perfect by any means, but they are done, LOL! WIP ~ July 8th, 2011

Officially finished = quilted, washed and in use! Ms. E’s Fresh Flowers quilt. I used embroidery floss I had on-hand to tie this quilt.  I had plans to do some machine quilting, and then decided finishing was more important.  214 knots later… Ms. E is in L-O-V-E! Baby Bear Fleece Blankets

This is one of two fleece baby blankets I finished for the girls’ playroom over at Grandma’s house.  I used my open-toed walking foot to attach the polyester silk ribbon to this fun fleece Mom picked out at Joann’s.  We purchased a yard and a half of fabric, divided it in two and added the silk binding.  I used one package of binding per blanket.
