Finished It Friday at The SD #02

With only three weeks till Christmas I am sure there are many projects that are just waiting to be shared after the Holidays.  I have several nearing completion that I just can’t wait to post after they are given and received.  No sneak peaks here!

But… I can share this finish!  It is for my newest Niece, and I don’t think she is reading my blog yet, LOL!

Name: ‘Sugar Pop Zig and Zag’

Made For: My newest niece in Corn-husker territory

Fabric: Prints are from the Sugar Pop collection by Liz Scott from Moda; the HSTs are charms pulled from three charm packs; gray solid is Bella ‘Ash’ {I think}

Batting: a very thin polyester from Joann’s
Size: 45″ wide by 52″ high

Quilting: Some basic line quilt to highlight the zig zag and diamonds quilted into border

Dates: Start: June 2011 ~ Finish: December 2011

Pattern: ‘original’ pattern inspired by the amazing zig zag quilts created using HSTs found across Blogland this year.

    Beautiful HST quilt, Kimberlee! I linked up my latest finish, but I’m not seeing anyone’s link-ups in the post! All I see is “4 entries so far!” and then the “add your link” button, but no links or pics or anything to click on! Am I crazy?!

      Houston…. we have a problem. Something is amiss with the InLinkz program. No matter what I do, I can’t get the list of links to show up. ~Kimberlee

      Belinda ~ I added your links to the new linky, but am not sure I choose the right picture to go with the right name. Thank you for linking up, and I apologize for the technical difficulties. ~Kimberlee

      Sarah ~ Of course, LOL! But… the kiddos love haning out underfoot. Hence, why it took six months to get this simple quilt finished and ready to mail! ~Kimberlee
